These Terms & Conditions govern your access to and use of the Payback+ mobile application and related services (the “App”) operated by PAYBACK TECH LIMITED (“Payback+”, “we”, “us”, or “our”).
By using Payback+, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use or access the App and its services in any manner.
Payback+ is a record-keeping and coordination tool designed to help users manage shared expenses, payment tracking, reminders, and related financial organization between friends or groups.
You acknowledge and agree that Payback+ is not a bank, stored value facility, payment processor, money service, lending platform, accounting firm, legal service, debt collection agency, or provider of financial, legal, tax, or accounting advice. Payback+ does not hold money, process payments, guarantee payment completion, or act on behalf of users in collecting debts.
Any information provided to you through the services is not intended to provide investment, financial, insurance, accounting, legal, tax, or any other kind of professional advice or services, and nothing on this mobile application should be construed as an offer to sell, a solicitation of an offer to buy, or a recommendation for any purchase decision, security, insurance policy, or investment strategy. You also agree that you understand that we are not affiliated with any credit reporting agency, and that MM bears no authority to evaluate your eligibility for any of the following products, services or transactions: (1) credit or insurance to be used primarily for personal, family or household purposes; (2) employment purposes; or (3) a license or other benefit granted by a government department or authority. The service offered by us in Payback+ is not regulated activities in the jurisdiction, we do not need any license to offer the service and maintain the operation.
If your use of the services is prohibited by applicable laws, then you aren't authorized to use the services. We can't and won't be responsible for your using the services in a way that breaks the law.

These Terms of Use (the "Terms") are a binding contract between you and Payback+, ("Payback+," "we" and "us"). You must agree to and accept all of the Terms, or you don't have the right to use the services. Your using the services in any way means that you agree to all of these Terms, and these Terms will remain in effect while you use the Services. These Terms include the provisions in this document, as well as those in the Privacy Policy.
You must be legally permitted to use the App under the laws applicable to you.
To use Payback+, you may be required to sign up for an account via using third-party sign-in providers, such as Apple, Google, or Facebook, to authenticate users. Your use of those services is also subject to these third-party sign-in providers’ own terms and privacy policies.
Payback+ only collects necessary information to create and operate your account and related app features. This may include information provided by the relevant third-party sign-in providers, depending on your settings and permissions with that provider, as well as information you choose to provide during onboarding, such as your nickname and preferred payment method. Payback+ does not store your third-party password.
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your device and access to your account.
Payback+ allows users to create, input, upload, and manage records such as shared expenses, split arrangements, reminders, payment-related notes, links, QR codes, and other content needed to operate the App’s features.
The App may also allow users to optionally input and manage personal financial organization records, such as income information, bill-related entries, due dates, reminder settings, and other user-input records used in connection with the App’s reminder, tracking, assistant-style, or related organizational features.
You are responsible for the accuracy, legality, and appropriateness of the content and records you enter into the App. Payback+ does not verify whether any amount, note, payment status, reminder setting, or record entered by a user is accurate, complete, or accepted by another user.
You will only use these services for your own internal, personal, non-commercial use, and not on behalf of or for the benefit of any third party, and only in a manner that complies with all laws that apply to you.
Payback+ may allow users to store, upload, or share payment-related links or QR codes, such as PayMe or Alipay information, for convenience in settlement between users.
Payback+ does not verify, endorse, monitor, or guarantee any third-party payment link, QR code, payment destination, or external payment service. Any payment made through an external payment service is solely between the users and the relevant third-party provider. PAYBACK TECH LIMITED is not responsible for failed, misdirected, disputed, delayed, or unauthorized payments made outside the App.
Certain features of Payback+ rely on friend connections, group participation, and limited sharing between users.
Where the App provides visibility of certain payment-related details, records, reminders, or settlement information, such visibility is limited to the relevant in-app context and feature flow. Where a user chooses to provide payment method details for settlement purposes, such details will only be displayed within the relevant shared expense or settlement context to the applicable approved Payback+ friends, group participants, or splitters involved in that flow, and not to users generally across the App.
Users are responsible for understanding what they choose to share within the App. Once information is shared with another authorized participant within the App, Payback+ cannot control how that recipient may use or retain that information outside the App.
Payback+ may provide reminder, coordination, and assistant-style features to support payment follow-up and record organization.
These features may include optional bill tracking, due date reminders, income-related organization features, and other user-configured notification or assistant-style functions made available through the App.
These features are provided for convenience only. Payback+ does not guarantee that reminders, prompts, or notifications will be sent, received, delivered on time, or acted upon. Reminder functionality may depend on user input, device settings, operating system permissions, platform delivery services, network availability, and other factors outside our reasonable control. Users remain solely responsible for confirming payment status, checking records, monitoring bill obligations and due dates, and deciding how to handle their own financial arrangements.
Any expense split, payment arrangement, settlement, or related understanding made through or in connection with Payback+ is solely between the relevant users.
PAYBACK TECH LIMITED is not a party to any arrangement, agreement, or dispute between users. Payback+ has no obligation to monitor, verify, enforce, collect, recover, mediate, or resolve any payment, balance, settlement, or dispute between users.
Some features of Payback+ may be offered as optional paid features now or in the future, including one-time purchases and subscription-based features. If you choose to purchase a paid feature, the applicable price, billing terms, subscription period (if any), and any feature-specific terms will be presented to you at the time of purchase. Payments may be processed through the relevant app store or platform provider, and your purchase may also be subject to that provider’s terms and conditions.
For one-time purchases, you will be charged once for the applicable feature, content, or report, and no recurring billing will apply unless otherwise stated at the time of purchase.
For subscription-based features, your subscription will automatically renew unless it is cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. The renewal charge will be billed through the relevant app store or platform provider within the 24-hour period before the end of the current billing period, in accordance with that provider’s billing practices and terms. You may manage or cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings with the relevant app store or platform provider. Cancellation will take effect at the end of the current billing period, and you will continue to have access to the subscription features until that time. Deleting your account or deleting the app does not automatically cancel your subscription.
If you need assistance with a paid feature, subscription, or billing-related issue, you may contact us at info@paybacktech.com. When contacting us, please provide sufficient information for us to locate your purchase or subscription, such as your Payback+ account email address, the platform used for the purchase, the name of the paid feature or subscription, the purchase date, and a brief description of the issue. However, where billing is handled by the applicable app store or platform provider, subscription cancellations, renewals, and billing changes must be managed directly through that provider.
Unless otherwise stated, fees paid for optional paid features are non-refundable except where required by applicable law or the applicable app store or platform provider’s rules.
You agree not to misuse Payback+. This includes, without limitation:
using the App for unlawful, fraudulent, abusive, or misleading purposes;
attempting to access, extract, or interfere with another user’s data without authorization;
uploading content you do not have the right to use or share;
interfering with the operation, security, or stability of the App;
attempting to reverse engineer, scrape, or exploit the service beyond its intended use.
PAYBACK TECH LIMITED may suspend or restrict access if we reasonably believe the App is being misused.
All rights, title, and interest in and to Payback+, including the App, branding, design, software, interfaces, content structure, and related materials, are owned by or licensed to PAYBACK TECH LIMITED, except for content provided by users.
You retain ownership of the content you submit to the App, but you grant PAYBACK TECH LIMITED a limited right to use, host, store, process, and display that content only as reasonably necessary to operate, secure, maintain, and improve the service in accordance with the App’s features and applicable privacy terms.
Payback+ may depend on or interoperate with third-party services, platforms, or providers, including sign-in providers, app stores, device operating systems, notification services, hosting infrastructure, and external payment services.
PAYBACK TECH LIMITED does not control and is not responsible for the availability, functionality, security, performance, policy changes, interruptions, or failures of third-party services. We do not guarantee that Payback+ will always be available, uninterrupted, error-free, or compatible with every device, operating system, or third-party service.
Your use of Payback+ is also subject to our Privacy Policy, which explains how personal data and related information are collected, used, stored, shared, and protected.
PAYBACK TECH LIMITED may suspend, restrict, or terminate your access to Payback+ if:
you breach these Terms & Conditions;
we reasonably suspect misuse, unlawful activity, or security risk;
we need to protect the service, other users, or our legal position.
You may deactivate or request deletion of your account through the relevant in-app entry or contact channel made available by Payback+, including the in-app support channel under “Contact Us”. Any such request will be handled in accordance with the applicable in-app process and our Privacy Policy.
Payback+ is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis to the maximum extent permitted by law.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, PAYBACK TECH LIMITED disclaims warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including any implied warranties of accuracy, reliability, availability, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
PAYBACK TECH LIMITED does not guarantee:
that any record, balance, or payment status entered by users is correct;
that any reminder or notification will be delivered, received, or acted upon;
that any payment between users will be completed;
that any third-party payment service, payment link, or QR code will work as intended;
that any dispute between users will be resolved through the App.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, PAYBACK TECH LIMITED shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, business, goodwill, data, or opportunity arising out of or in connection with your use of, or inability to use, Payback+, including any dispute, failed payment, delayed payment, incorrect record, reminder failure, third-party payment issue, or reliance on user-provided information.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, PAYBACK TECH LIMITED’s total liability arising out of or in connection with Payback+ shall not exceed the amount you paid, if any, to PAYBACK TECH LIMITED for paid features in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited under applicable law.
Payback+ may update, modify, suspend, discontinue, or remove any part of the App, its features, functionality, or content at any time, including where this is necessary to reflect product improvements, technical or security needs, operational changes, legal or regulatory requirements, or changes in our business offering.
Where reasonably appropriate, we may provide notice of material changes to the App or its services through the App, by email, or by other appropriate means. We are not liable for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of any part of the App or its features, except as required by applicable law.
We may also update these Terms & Conditions from time to time along with the services. The updated version will take effect when it is made available through the App or otherwise communicated to you. By continuing to use Payback+ after the updated Terms & Conditions take effect, you agree to all of the changes..
You agree that PAYBACK TECH LIMITED may provide notices, updates, disclosures, and other communications to you electronically, including through in-app messages, push notifications, or other digital means made available through Payback+.
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
